Study Edge provides Review Sessions and Study Materials for many undergraduate courses to help students improve their grades and improve their overall understanding of course material. All of our Review Sessions and Study Materials are prepared and administered by our Study Experts. All of our Study Experts have spent over 5 years not only becoming experts in their respective subjects, but also in relating the material in a way that college students can understand.
At Study Edge we don’t stop at just helping you prepare for exams, we give you the tools and flexibility to be successful on your own terms. Study Edge provides more than jsut tutoring, we give students the EDGE they need to succeed academically! By integrating live Study Hours and a state of the art Facebook Application, we can provide affordable study expertise and support that is available 24 hours, 7 days a week to both students and parents. At the University of Florida, which has an all student average GPA of 3.30, students who are Study Edge members have an average GPA of 3.53 (based on nearly 5000 membership submissions)!
Study Edge offers three core services to help you acheive academic success: Exam Review Sessions, Weekly Review Sessions, and Study Hours. Review Sessions are offered in one of two formats depending on your course: live and in-person, or on video through our Facebook Application . For many classes there are also textbook solutions, old exam solutions, review sheet solutions, extra content videos, solutions to sample questions, and more, all created by the Study Experts. Exam Review Sessions are the best way to prepare for in class exams. Our Study Experts analyze, organize, and write content specific to your subject to best prepare you for your exam. A review packet is included with each Exam Review session, with practice problems/mock exams. The length of an Exam Review Session varies by subject but a typical session ranges from 3-4 hours. Supplemental material is also available through the Study Edge Facebook Application which may include video concept explanations, practice problem video solutions, textbook problem video solutions, and more.
Weekly Review Sessions are the best way to improve your understanding of the material for your course. Weekly Review Sessions with your Study Expert allow you to go in depth and solidify your understanding of the course material as you go. A typical Weekly Review Session ranges from 1.5 - 2 hours.
Study Hours. Live Study Hours are offered at the University of Florida and University of Georgia. Imagine you and your friends are studying for your upcoming exam, but you are all stumped on a practice problem. Wouldn’t it be great if you could simply raise your hand and a Study Edge Study Expert suddenly walked over to help fill in the missing pieces? Welcome to Study Hours. For live locations, it’s that simple: raise your hand and call over a Study Expert. Almost all of our Study Hours are held in the evening, which is when most students do their studying and on-campus resources are unavailable. Don't have a live location at your school? Don't worry! All of your questions can be answered by our Study Experts by posting on the wall for your course through the Study Edge Facebook Application!
*Study Hours are currently available at UF and UGA only. For each course offered there are 6 hours/week plus additional hours during the week of an exam.
If you attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL or University of Georgia in Athens, GA, we recommend attending the live Review Session if possible. But, don't worry, if you can't make it to the live session, each review is recorded and available to watch on video through our Facebook Application!
