Fun Fact:  Graham, a National Merit Scholar, attended undergrad and law school on a full scholarship.  He started his teaching career with SAT review sessions to his basketball team as senior in high school.  Now, his main focuses are Economics, Accounting and LSAT.  His honors thesis was on "farming subsidies in 3rd world countries," he has tutored accounting on 5 different campuses for 10 different professors, and scored in the 99.9th percentile on the LSAT.  Don't let his love for sports, wings, and beer fool you, he is most definitely a closet nerd.  Oh, and if you want to make his day, use the word Beastmode when asking him any question.

  Name:  Zachary Stepp
Education:  B.S. Electrical Engineering, M.A. in Math Education from UF

Fun Fact: Zach was a tutor at the UAA for math and physics for over 12 semesters, but that doesn't even begin to describe his dedication to the educational profession.  He was a math/stats professor at Santa Fe College in Gainesville for 6 years, and has tutored math for over 30 semesters and physics for 12 semesters.  All his degrees are from UF, including a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Masters in Education, and a year of graduate work in the math department.   He takes a break about every 2 weeks by jamming out somewhere in Florida with his reggae band.

Fun Fact:  Rich started giving lectures in high school for chemistry at the age of 16. In his last two years of undergrad, he was a chemistry TA for General Chemistry 1 and General Chemistry 2. He’s been doing Review Sessions for General Chemistry 1 and General Chemistry 2 for more than 15 semesters and at 3 different schools. If that does not excite you, in his free time, he enjoys turning Asian red, gambling in casinos, traveling, college football, and learning a fourth language.

Fun Fact:  Jenn gave up the cold at the University of Utah to come back to the sunny skies at the University of Florida. She is now starting her 13th semester of tutoring organic chemistry and was formally a tutor for the University Athletic Association. In her ‘free time’ (1 hour a month) Jenn loves to travel, ski, scuba dive, and draw structures for the molecules listed on her shampoo bottle.

Fun Fact: Brandon wrote his thesis on the NFL’s monopoly exemption (yes, he does love economics and finance that much), and has passed the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) level 1 exam. He has been doing Review Sessions for more than 10 semesters, and was chapter president of his business fraternity (Alpha Kappa Psi). You may not know this about Brandon, but he wants to be the next food network star.

Fun Fact: Kellie was a special guest speaker at the Women in Physics Conference 2009 and won the Hollingsworth award in 2005.  She is also an Association of Women in Mathematics award winner, and Math League exam award winner.  But she’s much more friendly and fun than you think.   She has been giving Review Sessions for more than 10 semesters, and in her free time she enjoys winning trivia nights (both in terms of questions answered correctly and most beer drank).

Fun Fact:  When Andrew saw only the brightest of students from Florida go to UF, he didn’t hesitate to follow suit. Four  semesters at Broward Teaching Center and one football-related patella injury later, Andrew took his skills elsewhere, tutoring privately for another 6 semesters before being recruited by the Study Edge team. Unless you WANT to hear him ramble and reminisce for hours, don’t ask him about his time as Mu Alpha Theta team captain a.k.a. Top Math Nerd in high school. He attended the University of Florida to further his studies in, as you probably figured, math. In his spare time, you’ll find Andrew playing Friday dodgeball at Westside park, infuriating other nerds in Starcraft, and playing intramurals with friends.

Fun Fact: Brandon has been competitive academically since he first stepped foot in a classroom. From spelling bees as a youngster to computer programming competitions, he has always sought ways to prove himself as a top student. Brandon has continued this academic tenacity at UF as a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Not willing to let academics be his only challenging venue, Brandon opted to go skydiving before ever having taken a flight before. That’s right, the first plane he ever stepped foot on he later jumped out of.
