Study Edge offers three core services to help you acheive academic success: Exam Review Sessions, Weekly Review Sessions, and Study Hours. Review Sessions are offered in one of two formats depending on your course: live and in-person, or on video through our Facebook Application . Study Edge provides more than just tutoring, we give students the EDGE they need to succeed. For many classes there are also textbook solutions, old exam solutions, review sheet solutions, extra content videos, solutions to sample questions, and more, all created by the Study Experts and are available through the Study Edge Facebook Application.

Exam Review Sessions are the best way to prepare for in class exams. Our Study Experts analyze, organize, and write content specific to your subject to best prepare you for your exam. A review packet is included with each Exam Review session, with practice problems/mock exams. The length of an Exam Review Session varies by subject but a typical session ranges from 3-4 hours. Supplemental material is also available through the Facebook Application which may include video concept explanations, practice problem video solutions, textbook problem video solutions, and more.

Weekly Review Sessions are the best way to improve your understanding of the material for your course. Weekly Review Sessions with your Study Expert allow you to go in depth and solidify your understanding of the course material as you go. A typical Weekly Review Session ranges from 1.5 - 2 hours.

Study Hours are offered virtually and at our live locations at the University of Florida and University of Georgia. Imagine you and your friends are studying for your upcoming exam, but you are all stumped on a practice problem. Wouldn’t it be great if you could simply raise your hand and a Study Edge Study Expert suddenly walked over to help fill in the missing pieces? Welcome to Study Hours. For live locations, it’s that simple: raise your hand and call over a Study Expert. For all other locations, we have virtual Study Hours where you can have all your questions answered while talking to the Study Experts!

*Live Study Hours are currently available at UF (Gainesville, FL) and UGA (Athens, GA) only. For each course offered there are 6 hours/week plus additional hours during the week of an exam.

Membership Options:

Study Edge offers three membership levels to meet your studying needs: Silver, Gold, and Diamond-VIP. In general we recommend a Gold membership for all of our students. Whether you are using Study Edge for two courses, or just want to be able to watch some videos more than once, Gold is typically what you’ll need.

When you purchase a membership, you are purchasing a certain number of video tokens. With a Silver, you get 50, Gold – 100, and Diamond-VIP – 200. There are Reviews Session videos, video concept explanations, practice problem video solutions, textbook problem video solutions, and more. Videos that have individual concept or problem explanations require only one video token to watch. The longer videos are recordings of Live Review Sessions, which each require 15 video tokens to watch. Don’t worry, you won’t get them confused. The videos that require 15 video tokens to watch say so in the title.

With a membership, you’re paying for the amount of video you can watch each month. Video Tokens are replenished every month on the day the credit card is charged. 50 video tokens is about 3-6 hours of video. So, with a Silver membership you can watch 3-6 hours of video content each month, with a Gold membership you can watch between 6 and 12 hours of video each month, and with a Diamond-VIP membership you can watch between 12 and 24 hours of video each month.

When you purchase a membership, it will be renewed either monthly or annually, depending on which option you select. With an annual membership, you can buy 10 months now and get 2 months FREE! Your credit card will be automatically charged again one month from your date of purchase if you select a monthly plan, or one year from your date of purchase if you select an annual plan. Each month on the date of your original transaction, your video tokens will be replenished to the amount provided with your membership level.

If you do not wish to have your membership renewed make sure to cancel your membership under the My Account page on the Study Edge Facebook Application BEFORE you are charged again. The My Account page also tells you your date of next transaction, so you know when to cancel by. Note that when you cancel your membership, you will no longer have video tokens to watch the videos on the Facebook application. Also, if you attend the University of Florida or the University of Georgia you will no longer be able to attend live Review Sessions.

You can pay for a membership at any of our locations or on our Facebook Fan Page by clicking on the "Study Edge App" on the left. Once on the app, choose your school and primary subject. On the landing page, you will notice a "Buy it Now" link on the top right hand corner. This is where you can enter your credit card information and purchase the membership that best fits your needs. At Study Edge we do charge for our services and we understand that many people believe tutoring should be free. Take transportation as an example; taking the bus is free and yet many people still buy scooters and cars. There are people that use both modes of transportation though, and like those people, Study Edge encourages students to utilize all of the resources available to them, the free resources and our paid services, as they see fit.

The graph below illustrates the average cost of college education. Study Edge provides affordable study expertise and support that is available 24 hours, 7 days a week to both students and parents. On average, students report an expected full letter grade increase after using Study Edge services.

Individual Sessions (UF and UGA)

If you attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL or University of Georgia in Athens, GA, you can also pay for Review Sessions at the door. However, this is not recommended as it does not include video tokens which are needed to watch any supplemental material available on the Study Edge Facebook Application.

You may pay at the time of the Review Session by cash, check, or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Exam Review Sessions - $25

Exam Review Sessions are the best way to prepare for in class exams. Our Study Experts analyze, organize, and write content specific to your subject to best prepare you for your exam. A review packet is included with each session, with practice problems, mock exams. The length of an Exam Review Session varies by subject but a typical session ranges from 3-4 hours.

*Sessions that are 2 days in length (specifically 2 separate 3-4 hour review sessions) are $40. Membership options (see above) will be a better pricing option if taking these courses. All membership levels include Live Exam Reviews.

Weekly Review Sessions - $15

Weekly Review Sessions are the best way to improve your understanding of the material for your course. Weekly Review Sessions with your Study Expert allow you to go in depth and solidify your understanding of the course material as you go. A typical Weekly Review Session ranges from 1.5 - 2 hours. Gold and Diamond-VIP memberships include all Live Weekly Reviews and Live Exam Reviews, and Study Hours.
