Karma Points are awarded by our Study Experts for providing useful information about your class and answering other students’ posts on the class walls on the Study Edge Facebook Application. You'll be rewarded 100, 200 or 500 Karma Points, depending on your post. You can also see where you stand with other students by looking at the Karma Points leader board on the Facebook App. The number of Karma Points you've earned is shown on each wall post that you make, on the Karma Points leader board, and on the My Account page of the Facebook App. Karma Points accumulate over time and are for all of your classes, so you don't have separate Karma Points for each subject.

At Study Edge we encourage collaborative learning, so we want you to help other students. Often times students at different schools are learning the same material and have the same questions. On the class walls, everyone can help answer each other's questions, as well as having them answered by the Study Experts. One of the best ways to study is explaining concepts and problems to other people!

For every 5,000 Karma Points that you earn, you get to choose between 20 video tokens, a $10 gift card to a local restaurant/bar, or $5 cash.  There’s no limit to what you can earn.  For example, 50,000 Karma Points could get you $50 cash!
