We are focused on a continuous learning model, as opposed to hosting cram sessions a few days before an exam, and our goal is to help students truly master course content. At Study Edge, we’ve developed content for many “historically difficult” courses; across the country, these are commonly courses in chemistry, economics, mathematics, statistics, and physics, just to name a few. Many of the courses we offer are “gatekeeper courses,” or courses that students must pass in order to pursue a particular major.

Currently, we provide video and study content for over 25 undergraduate subjects. All of our Review Sessions and Study Materials are prepared and administered by our Study Experts, who have each spent over 5 years not only in becoming Experts in their respective subjects, but also in relating the material in a way that college students can understand.

Chapter Review Session Videos are the best way for students to prepare for class and truly master the subject. In each Chapter Review, we teach all of concepts covered in the chapter and work through several problems to ensure understanding of the material. If there is a concept that a student still requires more help on, he or she can watch another video of that concept along with more problems! These videos are called Concept Videos on our Facebook application.

Practice Problems are the best way to test students’ knowledge, and we have practice problems for each chapter. Instead of just presenting students with the solution to a problem, our Study Experts create video explanations and walk them through the underlying concepts so they’ll be ready for any variation of that question.

We’re built directly into Facebook, making studying social and fun for students on a 24/7 basis.

Our goal at Study Edge is to make studying a fun and social activity for students, and we deliver our content 100% online through our Facebook and mobile apps. We understand that students use Facebook as a means for socializing; by building our solution directly into Facebook, we integrate studying and class discussions seamlessly into students’ social lives, thus creating better learning outcomes

Additionally, we have a class wall on Facebook where students can post questions at any time and our Study Experts answer them; we even incentivize students to answer each other’s questions. By doing so, we encourage our students to ask questions, as many students are intimidated to ask in a large lecture hall. We do NOT, however, answer quiz questions, do homework for students, or allow anonymous postings.
